I am pleased to announce the nominees and winners of the Tisdale and District Chamber of Commerce Imprints of Success Awards.
Business of the Year To be awarded to a business that demonstrates overall success, judged according to certain criteria: growth and use of capital investment, exceptional performance, job creation, stability, and community involvement. Business must have been operating for at least one full year.
Nominated: Fantasy Flooring, Sears

Pioneer Business This award is designed to recognize pioneer and cornerstone business leaders in Tisdale & District who have demonstrated excellence over and extended period of time and whose business has significantly contributed to the economic wellbeing of Tisdale and District for an extended period of time. The business must have been in continuous operation for at least fifteen (15) years.
Winner: John Bob Farm Equipment
Group of the Year awards recognize significant contributions to our community’s quality of life – both social and economic, made by private citizens. The major focus of these awards involves efforts made during the calendar year January 2012 – December 31, 2012.
Nominated: Tisdale Snowmobile Club, Tisdale Wildlife Federation, Tisdale Lions Club
Winner: Tisdale Snowmobile Club
Citizen of the Year awards recognize significant contributions to our community’s quality of life – both social and economic, made by private citizens. The major focus of these awards involves efforts made during the calendar year January 2012 – December 31, 2012.
Winner: Darren Will
Citizen’s Honour is award is designed to recognize citizens and business leaders in Tisdale & District who have made a lasting, positive impact on Tisdale & District overall for an extended period of time. The nominee must have positively impacted the community over an extended period of time.
Winner: Mr Rolly Zimmer
